Bobo Fair - JCC - 27 June 2013

Thursday midnight, I came with the idea, How about bringing Josh to Bobo Fair.

Bobo Fair held  on Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from 26 - 30 June 2013.
It's our first Bobo Fair.

After confirmed in the Hospital, I went directly to JCC with Josh.
As taxi need to pay the entrance fee also, we stop at the front gate and walk inside. Looking around and enjoy morning whether is kinda a good thing to do also ^^.

A lot of live performance.
You gotta enjoy the song and dance ^^/, Bobo&Friend, Diatas rata-rata singer, etc.
Hmmm, a lot of company advertisement also. you brought the stuff, you got to play the game, a reasonable price. There were a games area also.
I must admit that The booth was amazing, the company tried their best to advertised them self.
A lot of sales personal staff going around and asked you to brought their product, but that's okay, just refuse it nicely if you didn't interest in their product.
And lot of food sold inside, ice cream, milk, sausage, cookies, nugget, even mineral water, so you won't get hungry, just open your pocket ^^. But still I took a lunch box and fruit for Josh.

Mama, come, look, Legoland.... Josh kept talking about legoland these days.

You could write about your dream and put it on the torch then you sliding down ^^

You can go to the Bobo Booth, you got a free activities there, and you could took a picture with Bobo wallsheet ^^. So colorful.

Nah, After looking all the booth inside out, Josh nagging me to let him play something.
He then asked me to let him play Taro adventure. I shall brought Taro snack for IDR 25.000 (get 3 bag of Taro and 1 doll) and got 1 play pass. I will gave the Taro snack as a gift for Daddy :p
They put the helmet and light on the lamp when entrance the Cave. Wow, I'm amazed on looking how Josh didn't afraid on getting inside the cave and climb up to the Tree house. Good Job baby. And after he sliding down from the tree house, he rushing to the cave again and repeat the play. The staff look at his eagerness, let him do that one more time :p.

Taro Adventure. - Josh enjoyed the upper view from Tree House.

The 2nd thing that he want to play was the Champina Ferris Wheel then continue with Flying Fox.

Paid IDR 30.000, got 3 ice cream, crayon, 1 photo and 1 play pass. First I thought they will only let Josh played the Ferris Wheel, but hey, they took him out for Flying Fox also. Hmmm, he was the smallest one.

So, instead of asking them turn Josh down, I let Josh tried to play it. And Amazingly, he follow all the order, like hold on the rope and he didn't afraid at all. (I record when Josh play the flying fox).

Josh keep saying that he didn't afraid xixixi.

After playing, I took him out for having his lunch while watch singer competition.

Then we headed back to the main stage.

At the main entrance, there was a sign wrote "don't bring any mineral water bottle", why? Cause you can get it inside, you can buy it and got free picture of you :p.

Then we go to the free experimental booth.

Near the exit door, there was other Taro adventure - wall climbing. Josh looking at the girl and he said he want to do it also :p. Later on baby, I let you tried it :).

Josh played the Maze and meet with the Rabbit.

Near the exit door also, there was 15 meter wall track. We brought a car inside area, and Josh was happy to play his car.

Before headed home, Josh asked me for another play. And let him play for 30 minutes.

We want to took taxi home, but no taxi available. Look at Josh waiting on the new chair (initiated by our new Jakarta Governor). After a while, Josh told me that he want to took busway.

Then, yeay, in the middle of working people who rush home, we took the busway. 

Josh sleep in the crowd busway, and I need to carry him, fuih so tired... Anyway, whenever I saw his happy face and his happy statement, I guess I could overcome it.

Josh Birthday Cake 2013

As a mom, I wanna do something different this year by making Birthday Cake for Josh.
Josh help me to whisk the egg ^^.

I bake my own cake.

After two time attempt, I could finally make the cream successful. Fuih...
And see, I couldn't make a smooth surface on the cake.

Wondering, what the cake turn out later on.

So here the cake result after messing around the house.
After this trial, I salute more all the people who have them self making a beautiful cake.
Really, that took a lot of patient and creativity. :p

A simple cake for my only son. ^^

I have a plan on celebrating Josh's birthday only with Daddy.
But Daddy inform me that he couldn't make it on time and will be arrived late of night.
So After I finishing my cake, I text my brother and sister to came and celebrate it with Josh.
But suddenly Daddy got home so earlier ^^, wow, the birthday turn out merrier.
Thanks for my family who rush them self to came for lil Josh.

Yeay, I turn 3 now.

Part 1 Legoland - Johor Bahru - 16 June 2013

Rencana ke Johor Bahru - Legoland tak pernah terlintas di pikiran, sampai saat membandingkan harga tiket pesawat.

Rencana awal - Singapore - Penang - Pematang Siantar (via Medan) dan balik ke Jakarta.
Namun tiket pesawat Penang - Medan - Jakarta sungguh mahal memasuki masa liburan sekolah. Tiket Penang - Jakarta pun lebih mahal dibandingkan Penang - Johor - Jakarta.
Alhasil saya memutuskan untuk drop by Johor.

Tiket Penang - Jakarta - di harga 1.6jt
Tiket Penang - Johor - Jakarta - di harga 1.2jt  (ber 3 travel - save sekitar 1.2jt - hmmm lumayan buat hotel, transport dan makan selama di Johor :p)

Kita memilih stay 2 malam di Johor - mulai  15 Juni - 17 Juni, karena tidak ada pesawat Johor - Jakarta pada hari minggu.
Kalau sudah di Johor Bahru, apalagi kalo bukan Legoland, atraksi baru yang menarik wisatawan datang.

Karena semua serba dadakan termasuk pemesanan hotel - pemesanan tiket legoland - dan tiket pesawat.
So Dadakan = susah berhemat! hehehe.

Transportasi
Bisa memilih menggunakan Taxi (Biru - eksekutif, Merah - standard) atau Bus.

Dari Bandara ke Hotel:
Kita menggunakan Taxi di Taxi stand dekat pintu keluar bandara.
Biaya Bandara ke Hotel Grand Paragon - City Center - 45RM.
Sedangkan Bus akan berhenti di JB Sentral saja.

Dari Hotel Grand Paragon ke JB Sentral:
Hotel Grand Paragon terletak di City Center, padahal stasiun bus, kereta, dan tempat berhentinya bus dari Singapore, semua di JB Sentral.
Untungnya ada Bus yang namanya S1 (KSL City Link) di depan KSL Hotel and Mall. Dengan jalan kaki 5 menit dari Hotel Grand Paragon, kita bisa naik bus ini, harganya 1.5RM.
Tapi kalau ber3 dewasa yah sebenarnya bisa naik Taxi, Grand Paragon - JB Sentral - 5-6RM.

Dari Hotel Grand Paragon ke Legoland:
Pergi: Grand Paragon - City Center ke Legoland dengan Taxi Biru (Hotel hanya sediakan taxi biru) - 50RM.
          Total waktu pergi 30menit.
Pulang: Bus Legoland - JB Sentral - 9 RM (@4.5RM)
            Bus JB Sentral - Grand Paragon yaitu S1 (KSL City Link) - 3 RM (@1.5RM)
            Total 12 RM, Total waktu 1 jam 30 menit.

Dengan Bus terasa lebih lama karena bus mampir dulu ke statiun lain sebelum ke JB Sentral, selain itu kita harus menunggu bus S1 (yang melewati hotel Grand Paragon).
Kebetulan kami langsung dapat bus S1 (KSL City Link) sehingga kami tidak memakai taxi.

Saya memilih pergi dengan Taxi karena takut bus penuh dan tidak dapat tempat duduk, padahal kaki mama butuh istirahat. Kalau bisa naik Taxi merah lebih baik karena info yang kami dapat dari pengemudi taxi merah bahwa biasanya taxi merah hanya kena 30RM.

Pulangnya bus juga penuh, tapi untunglah ada yang berbaik hati memberikan tempat duduk untuk mama dan Josh. Josh pun tertidur selama perjalanan pulang.

Akomodasi
Pilihan hotel jatuh di Grand Paragon City Center, karena pilihan daddy ^^.
Sebaliknya hotel yang dekat dengan legoland - hotel traders (yang sebelahan dengan hello kitty), jauh dari mana mana.
Kalau kemana mana akan naik bus, sebaliknya pilih hotel di daerah JB Sentral, karena bisa dijangkau dengan jalan kaki.

Ada hotel yang menawarkan paket Legoland. Seperti Grand Paragon, paket 2 hari 1 malam, dengan 2 tiket dewasa Legoland, Transport pulper, jatuhnya jauh lebih murah ketimbang beli terpisah - boleh dihitung (sigh, ini yang kami lewatkan, karena mendadak, jadi pengumpulan informasi kurang lengkap). Biasanya promo harus di lihat di website hotel.

Kami cukup puas dengan kamar hotel yang luas, mudah mencari makan, walaupun secara lokasi jauh dari bandara. Karena bukan budget hotel, jadi makan pagi ala hotel bintang 5, bisa berlama - lamaan makan sangking banyak pilihan, dan senangnya aku tak perlu repot pikirin sarapannya Josh (yg relatif mood-mood an tiap makan pagi).

Sempat lihat daerah Danga Bay (dimana Tune hotel berada), lumayan juga kalo bicara soal isi perut - terlihat restoran didekat hotel.

Tiket Legoland

Kalau sudah tahu dari jauh hari akan pergi, setidaknya 7 hari sebelumnya pesan online baru dapat discount.
Kalau tidak harus bayar harga full :( huaaa..... 140RM.
Cek di website Legoland.

Selain itu, bisa juga cara pesan hotel yang ada promo legolandnya. Or kalau tahu product apa yang ada discount beli tiket legoland on the spot nya.

Kita beli online, dan pada saat tiba, saya tunjukkan email ke ticket counter (karena saya belum print), maka mereka akan print ticket untuk kita.

Untuk hari Minggu di Legoland, antrian ticket masih wajar. Antrian di pintu masuk juga sangat wajar.
