Josh Night out

Last Saturday, 24 August 2013, for the first time ever, Josh didn't sleep with Us.
It started with we visited Pho-Pho house and played with Auntie Helen and San-san.
Josh ate a lot that day, every single thing he saw, he asked his aunt or his pho-pho to opened it.
He seem to know that mom will reject his request for snack.

The clock showing 10.00 pm, and I asked Josh to go home.
Josh refuse it and said "I will stay at Pho-Pho house, with Auntie".
Then I told him "Ok, I will pick you up tomorrow morning, It's same with school, I leave you and I pick up later on."
Josh: "Oke Mama".

Before Leave, I asked him again "are you sure you wanna stay here? Papa and Mama will go home now, we will leave you"
Josh: "Yes, I will stay here. Mama Papa Go"
He also waved goodbye to us.

I just told Papa that he need to came back later on in case Josh's cried on midnight.
After we left, my sista confirm once again with Josh, in case he changed his mind, we still not far away.
Auntie Helen: "Josh, are you sure you wanna stay here, your mama and papa have gone home now".
Josh: "Mama will pick me tomorrow morning".
Auntie Helen was surprise with his answer.

Then yeah, 3 person took care of my lil Josh that night. They cleaned him, talk with him before sleep, even wake on the middle of the night only to let Josh pee.
And that the first night I sleep without waking up. Even though I'm happy with my sleeping time, but I felt lonely also without him. (even for a night :p)
Anyway, It's a good exercise for my heart, as I could felt how's he really means for me..

Everyone told me, It's show that Josh is ready for a lil sista or brother. Hope so baby ^^/.

Family Day Out - Ragunan Zoo - 6th August 2013

It's been a while I didn't write anything.
We are on the holiday week now.
Couldn't plan for a far trip, cause the radiotherapy schedule.
And before my brother left for entering his new chapter of school life, I plan to have our family day out.
Outdoor trip that wasn't too tired, and I decide to visit Ragunan Zoo.

First time I went there 6 years ago for running and I didn't remember at all the places.
So this time I want to enjoy it slowly.

Price and Comment
Arrived at 7am, we waited for computer to turn on and brought ticket.
Ticket fee: 4500IDR (0.45 USD) for adult and the 500IDR for insurance.
Enter through North Entrance Door and we walk along till the East area, then South - West and went out through the North area.

We saw the Binturong, fish area, snake area, all kind of monkey, bird area, lot's of other animal.
No hippo and giraffe. According to fun area staff, the Giraffe died not long time ago. While according to food seller near the stage, the Giraffe was sick. *sigh*
Anyway, now the Giraffe cage was filled with Zebra.
Somehow I saw most of the animal gave the sadly face. Even the Elephant crying, is it me oversensitive?

There was children fun ride area. You need to pay 5000IDR (0.5 USD) per ride.

For almost three hours we spent there, worth for our short family trip.

Now my wish for this Ragunan Zoo. I hope the new person in charge or new management will do changes.
Come on, the entrance ticket prices is too low.
Ragunan 4500IDR, Taman Safari Zoo Puncak 70000IDR, Singapore Zoo S$22.
Is that possible to properly feed all animal? how about If they get sick?
Even now I need to spent 15000IDR for Banana in traditional market.
I agree if they should charge more for the one who afford, and charge a rational price for the one who couldn't.
We were not allowed to feed the animal also, while there were no one selling the animal food, like the one we found in Singapore Zoo (we paid for feeding the animal food - we were happy, and animal got their food).

So yeah, hope there were changes on this zoo. At least to keep the animal alive.

Now Transportation
It's easier to Get to Ragunan Zoo. There were Bus from Monument National area, or we could Take Busway. Or Take a taxi or ride our own car.

What to Bring?
Money of course, unless someone treat you ^^
Ragunan is a very big area of Zoo. If we could bring a bicycle that will be good.
You can bring water and food with you or there was lot of food stall inside also. Didn't check the price.
Applied Insect Repellent is a Must!
Sparing Clothes for the kiddo.

Before I forgot, If you bring small kid's and didn't want to take a long walk, From the North Gate, just turn to the right and walk to West area.

There was a Kid's Park, where children can see the small animal, like chicken, deer, bird, etc.

And there was playground also, but seem need a renovation :).

We didn't stop by as we have spent too much time there and need to get lunch and hurry for Radiotherapy.

Recently Josh could refuse for us taking his picture. Therefore Daddy need to act with him now ^^/.

He just got his uniform a week before long holiday, and so cute to see him wear the suit.
