Another Late Post.
For the first time Papa Calvin and Grandma's Josh visit Surabaya continuing with Batu and Malang Trip, here what I plan a leisurely holiday.
Day 1 - 14 June
Garuda Airlines depart at 8am from Jakarta and arrived on time in Surabaya.

We headed to Taxi counter.
All destination has the fixed price.
From Surabaya Airport to Raya Darmo where our hotel belong, cost us around Rp. 135.000 (10 USD).
After drop the luggage, it's 11am, still have time till noon.
For us who didn't rent a car, we could choose the Blue Bird Taxi or Orange Taxi, a comfortable ride.
There were free bus to travel around Surabaya provided by House of Sampoerna, but it's has a fixed schedule and we need to book the ticket previously.
We arrived back to Hotel at 3pm, took a rest and ready for tonight wedding reception.
Our first day end.

Day 2 - 15 June 2015
Before we continue our trip to Batu Malang at 1pm, we take a visit to Heroes Monument (Tugu Pahlawan). I think we need to learn about our country history, then we could learn to appreciate it the sacrifice and the spirit of national heroes. Click Here.

After visiting Heroes Monument, we went to Pasar Atom for lunch. No taxi pass by, we just took angkot then.
