Josh Sleeping Habit

Josh always having a nap with me beside him. Except holiday, Daddy might accompany him.

While on the night, when we start to stay on our house, most of the time Daddy accompany him to sleep.

Today, I change role with Daddy, as I finished done all the stuff, I read a book to Josh.

Close the light, massage him, sing a song, then asked him to sleep.

After one hour, Josh didn't sleep at all, then he told me, "Where is Daddy? Let's Daddy Sleep with me, I just want Daddy to sleep with me".

*Sigh*.

So here am I, writing some post after awake from Josh's request.

First Week at School

Josh got a bruise under his eyes.
Yes, he got hit by his friend.

I found a new "mommy" friend also while waiting Josh attend his school.

Then on Thursday after school, when I pick him, Teacher asked me to wait.
Ok, then they explained that his friend taking some toys and asked Josh to Played but he refuse it, then his friend hit his face.
He did cry and teacher put medicine on his face. Teacher also asked his friend to say sorry.
JOsh's Teacher also say sorry about this incident.
The child's mom is my new friend, therefore his's mother felt terrible sorry to me.
Anyway, I didn't blame the child, cause I know 3 to 4 year children still learn to control them self.

3 Teachers to handle 24 children in each class, now I really doubt how the teacher will get to know each children character. I learn that everything might happen in the class.

Actually I'm the one who afraid that Josh might hit or push other child. Therefore I always remind him to always play nice with friend, no hitting, no pushing, love your friend, listen to your teacher.
After he got doctrine by me, he really show me that he was a good child in school.
He listened to his teacher. He sit on his chair as teacher command it, while other still play around.

Cause something like this happen, I guess I need to teaches him, Defense Strategy ^^/.
Run as far as you can to your teacher side.
How to cross your arm in front of your face, don't let other hit your face or other important area.
Say stop or no to your friend who want to attack.
We don't want him to fight back as not everything solve with fight. For this moment, I guess he better learn and practice Defense strategy first.

I realized nowdays Josh has many expression. Love too see it and cheer up the picture.

First Day at School

Yeay, on 15 July, Josh officially starting his school activity :p.

First day on school, we arrived 15 minutes before the class.
Children all line up, and I asked Josh to do the same.
Teacher sing a song.

At 9am, Teacher took them to their class.
Josh didn't cry at all, even he didn't saw me and he listened to his teacher.
While some of the children crying, other played with the toys, Josh sit on his chair and starring around as still try to adapt with his new environment.

They main activities for the 1st was singing.

I shall wait on the front class, but on the 1st day they allowed parent to wait inside the class also.
And, cause I'm curious, I just sit behind the class. Eeeehh, suddenly Josh turn his head and look at me, and gave me a big smile, he felt relieved that he found me.

Till one accident, A girl with huge body size (I guess 2 times bigger than Josh), she suddenly pushed Josh without reason till Josh fall down.
Josh was shock and when Teacher hug him, he was start to cry. Then he run to me, asked me to bring his bag, and go home *sigh*.
I explained to Josh the situation, and he shall forgive his friend. But he keep crying.
So I bring him to toilet, after pee and washing his hand, he calm down.

When we back to class, they start the fishing activities.
Took the fish and each children got one fish  on the plastic bag as their gift.
Anyway, Josh love the fish and the activity.
but me, hmmmm, seem like their torturing the fish :(.
I kept telling Josh not to shake the plastic bag.

As soon as we went home, I move the fish and try to feed.
Hopefully, it's won't die soon.

Snack time.
For the first week, He will only spent one hour at class.
So I bring a fruit for him with a cute stick.
He finished his breakfast right before arrived school.
He didn't have appetite when Teacher as him to eat his snack :p.
Beside, the other kid bring cookies, bread, some of them bring rice also.

I have plan to bring Jelly tomorrow, I bet he will finished it all :p

After Chemotherapy - What Next?

We might questioning what will be the next step when we have done Chemotherapy.
How do we know whether the Chemotherapy react positively or stuck.

Therefore we asked our doctor and he said that we can do the scan.
CT - Scan or PET CT Scan?
Which one shall be our choice?

After hearing doctor explanation, reading some from internet, considering the expense, we decided to go with PET CT Scan.

Now, the result of PET CT Scan:
There no abnormal tracer accumulation seen in the mediastinum, lung and abdomen.
No evidence of FDG avid lesion seen in the liver, adrenals and no osseous lesions noted.

But there was a solitary focus intense FDG tracer accumulation is seen in the left lower pelvis - active solitary metastatic lymph node in the left internal iliac group. Measure: 9mm*1.5cm with SUV 9.5.

What to do next after Scan?
We consult with doctor (1st), and he recommend us to have Radiotherapy as soon as possible 25 external and 2 internal. The reason, Radiotherapy was used to control the cancer cell.
With 2nd doctor on the seminar, he also suggest us to have Radiotherapy and consult with Radiotherapist.
Then we also consult with our Chemotherapy doctor. He gave us three choices:
a. Go with Radiotherapy
b. Do the Surgery, remove that part of lymph node, do the biopsy
If the biopsy prove that cancerous cell, then do the Radiotherapy. If not, then we don't need to do anything.
c. Wait for 3 to 6 months and do scanning.
If later on the measurement became bigger, then we shall do the Radiotherapy.

Why the doctor gave us choice?
Cause according to him it's just one in the left iliac, it's might be Inflamation, but it's might be cancerous cell. We could not get conclusion that the cancerous cell cause it's not proven yet, therefore he gave us a choice.
He explain to us the process of PET CT Scan, using FDG, and all.

We did search a journal in Internet about PET Scan interpretation.

We then consult with Radiotherapist (recommended by the doctor).
Before we met the Radiotherapist, I met the young assistant doctor. While discussing with him, he told one thing that seem reasonable for me.
It's near to the origin where the cancer cell start, the suv is bright, it's increase the possibility that was cancerous cell.

Then when we meet the Radiotherapist doctor, hmmmm he seem quiet for a while and then he asked me why we didn't do any radiotherapy before.
I told him that I have consult with doctor. I ever asked whether we need radiotherapy or not. The doctor gave me an answer, "If we want to we can take it, but my mom cancer was not localized anymore, it's was a systemic cancer." We think of the doctor explanation, then our choice was chemotherapy.
Then the doctor continue that we could have a choice to wait for few months also.
If we want to do the radiotherapy, need 25 times external only.

After a long discussion we came up with conclusion that we will do the radiotherapy.
We try our best to fight with this disease. Not only though medical treatment, but changing our living style, eating and thinking.
But the most importantly is not how long will you live, but how you used your life. So within this time, hope we could used the time wisely.

Next week my mother will start her first radiotherapy.

Part 2 Legoland - Johor Bahru - 16 June 2013

Legoland:

Dari Pintu masuk ke Kanan area lebih banyak untuk permainan anak lebih kecil.

Dari Pintu masuk ke Kiri area lebih banyak permainan untuk anak yang lebih dewasa dan menantang.

Di tengah ada Lego City, sebaiknya pas buka langsung lihat, atau sore, kalau siang-siang tampaknya sepi disana karena teriknya matahari.

Kita memilih ke kanan. Jadi arus flow masuk kami adalah ke kanan nikmati semua sampai ke paling kiri, balik lagi sampai tengah, potong ke Lego City (saat hari sudah sangat sore, matahari tidak terlalu terik lagi).

Ada 4 playground - tanpa harus antri bermain. Menarik karena anak yang lebih kecil dapat bermain bergembira disini juga.

Apa yang harus dibawa ke Legoland:

1. Air Minum yang cukup. Didalam dijual 600ml Aqua seharga 2.5RM.

2. Payung. Panasnya poll banget, karena pohon-pohon masih pendek, plus tidak ada kipas angin air, maka cuaca terasa sangat menyengat.

Pada waktu kami tiba sempat terasa mendung, tapi begitu saja, sinar matahari siang ke sore sangat terik menyebabkan pusing.

3. Sun Block.

4. Baju Ganti (Ada permainan yang membuat baju basah).

5. Bawa Stroller jika tidak merepotkan.

6. Bawa Kamera ^^/.

After build the car, you can play the car race with friend.

The smallest kid in team also the slowest car hahaha.

Riding the horse, never get bore, played 4 times :p

Even though, the whether was very hot, but surprisingly, the Metal Sliding was not hot at all.
 Josh love to played it, even it's very high for his age.

Yeah, Josh played with water, while I enjoyed my game.

Another free queuing playground. Josh played for couple minute before we headed home.

Hari itu, jam legoland ditutup pukul 8pm (cek jadwal legoland dahulu). Kita selesai bermain jam 7.15pm, dan jalan ke tempat bus kira kira 15menit.

Untungnya bus nya masih ada, dan tepat setelah kita naik, bus nya mulai berangkat.

Sekitar jam 8.30 malam, baru kita sampai ke JB Sentral.

Lumayan lama perjalanan, dan semua anak-anak yang di bus, tertidur dipangkuan orang tuanya ^^.

Termasuk Josh yang tertidur di pangkuan mama.

Sampai saat tulisan ini di posting, Josh selalu mengulang cerita bahwa dia ke Legoland dengan mama, pho-pho, dan dengan gaya nya dia bercerita tentang mainan yang dia naiki.

Tampaknya kesan Legoland membekas dalam di ingatan Josh ^^/.
